There can be different laws and regulations depending on the lake.

Do you have an idea what lake you would like to target?

This is a very interesting question - as an agent commercial (ie with a french estate agency) we have a property with a lake for sale and I would be fascinated to know the law on this. My email address is sueimmorama@wanadoo.fr

I haven't really found a lake to target yet, as I wanted to find out the laws before committing, but am looking for somewhere with a lake of at least an acre (5 acres total land) with a water source approx an hour from Limoges? The boat would either be a small fishing boat or a barge typical to the UK? My email is buckingham_jane@hotmail.com if anyone can help or has any info on this subject?
